Self-proclaimed misogynist and former kickboxing champion, Andrew Tate, has been confirmed to have lung cancer by his manager on Instagram.

Tate is currently in Romanian custody over human trafficking allegations and did not receive permission to leave the country for treatment in Dubai.

His legal team claims that he has a “dark spot on his lung,” which is most likely a tumor. His manager claimed that Tate’s team wanted him to receive treatment in Dubai.

Tate’s doctors in Dubai and Romania reportedly confirmed that he has a lesion on his upper right lung.

Despite the seriousness of the diagnosis, some individuals have had no mercy when trolling Tate online.

Prior to his cancer diagnosis, people were making fun of his baldness, which he constantly bragged about as a personal choice.

Tate’s situation is further complicated by the fact that he is being detained in Romania on human trafficking charges.

It is unclear at this time what treatment options are available to Tate, given his legal situation and inability to travel.

Lung cancer can be a difficult disease to treat, and early detection is key to improving outcomes.  It is unclear at this time what treatment options are available to Tate,

We must continue to work towards a world where all individuals have access to quality healthcare and support, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Tate’s diagnosis is a sobering reminder of the work that still needs to be done to ensure that everyone has access to the care they need.
